Who We Are
She Shines: Girls Leadership Development Program, Inc. is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization recognized by the IRS.

We exist to create a joyful, safe, and confidence-building sisterhood for girls ages 4 and up — a place where they can grow, lead, heal, and shine.​​
Our Mission
She Shines Girls Club is a leadership and identity-building program created to help girls discover who they are in God, embrace their unique strengths, and walk in purpose with confidence.

We infuse faith, mentorship, sisterhood, creativity, and intentional development into every session because we believe every girl deserves the chance to rise into her full power, own her story, and become the queen she was born to be.

Organizational Goals
• Promote healthy lifestyles through fitness, wellness, and health-education programs
• Advocate against violence, drug abuse, alcohol abuse, and harmful risks among youth
• Encourage community leadership through monthly service projects
• Teach financial literacy, money management, and entrepreneurship
• Prepare girls for post-secondary success through exposure to college options, campus visits, application support, and scholarship guidance

Our Flower: Pink Azaleas
Pink Azaleas symbolize beauty, renewal, femininity, and inner strength. Spiritually, they represent the courage to see beyond appearances and discover the true beauty within.

Azaleas also reflect prosperity, resilience, and new beginnings — reminding our girls that they can recover, rebuild, and rise into brighter seasons. Their healing symbolism aligns with our mission to cultivate confidence, courage, and emotional well-being.
Our Spirit Animal: The Hummingbird
Hummingbirds are powerful totem animals representing joy, resilience, creativity, and transformation. With their vibrant colors and quick, graceful movement, they remind us to embrace freedom, individuality, and the sweetness of life.

For our girls, the hummingbird symbolizes:
• the courage to be authentically themselves
• the strength to rise through challenges
• the joy of expressing their God-given gifts
